RobT5M Posted January 6, 2010 Report Posted January 6, 2010 Haha wow what a cowinki dink. im actually about to start working on this tonight. bought the stuff on monday just havent had the time to put it in the oven. hey is 350 for 5 minutes really good for plastic... i mean wouldnt it melt?
revolvolution09 Posted January 8, 2010 Author Report Posted January 8, 2010 Im not sure about if it will melt or not if you leave it for that long. I guess only way to find out is try it. Im still looking for those plastic blind turners so i can start doing this project. Let me know how it turns out.
revolvolution09 Posted January 8, 2010 Author Report Posted January 8, 2010 Im having trouble finding a perfect size rod to make angel eye rings so i found this site that sell em. Also they are cheap and have all kind of sizes. http://www.tapplastics.com/shop/product.php?pid=147&
RobT5M Posted January 8, 2010 Report Posted January 8, 2010 I went to walmart. also decided to just buy a set of angel eye halo projector headlights within the coming week.BUT I still plan on doing this soon and putting it somewhere else. lol. maybe line the underlining of the car like street glow.... JK JK JK!!! but no seriously. im still going to do this, just need to find a spot for them.
Thorsteenster Posted December 19, 2011 Report Posted December 19, 2011 Awesome how to. This is a good place also to get various plastic products from I've used in the past. http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/item.aspx?itemid=24128&catid=440 Anyone have results from their handy work with this?
RobT5M Posted December 19, 2011 Report Posted December 19, 2011 Mine melted. haha. If I were to do this again, id save my money and try out something like this first. $5 and if you dont like them. oh well your only out $5 and 10 minutes of test fitting. they come in many different sizes and types of led's so im sure you could figure something out. not sure how they would look on stock housings. Have fun because they wont be going on my car They look better on the cars they came on stock.
Mattphi Posted December 19, 2011 Report Posted December 19, 2011 I remember when these were cool. In high school. I also had awesome highlighted hair and thought Mitsubishi Eclipse's / Honda Civic's with fart cans and big spoilers were the shit.
