DakotaS60 Posted January 28, 2010 Report Posted January 28, 2010 So after one of my buddies found out that I had bought an S60R he wanted to see how I compared to his 2003 350Z. I really don't race that much as I feel its only a good way to get tickets I don't need and for the most part dangerous on the street. But we decided to meet up and maybe go from a roll on the interstate which had a 75 mph speed limit. So we get on the interstate and get up to a nice 50 roll with no one around us and he gives the three honks and I roll on from third gear. He was in third as well and we stayed even through 4th until I shifted to 5th. He shifted as well and with in a second he was pulling away from me like nobody's bitc*. I shifted to sixth and from there I didn't gain and he didn't pull so we exited off and called it a night. Needless to say I was kind of disappointed but really wasn't surprised because he had also beat my other friend's 07 MazdaSpeed 6 and my other friend's 2.7T S4 although he only beat the S4 from a roll but got owned from a stop. I don't know what it is about his car but it just seems way to powerful for an 03 350Z with only 2.5" cat back exhaust and an intake. Anyways there is my story flame on if you must.

The one's i've had trouble with are the turbo ones and the new 370z's stock, those are freaking beasts.

The one's i've had trouble with are the turbo ones and the new 370z's stock, those are freaking beasts. +1 A few weeks ago I got passed on the highway by a 350z and a M3 the 350 was screaming and the M3 was keeping pace so I caught up and passed the 350 and the M3 started singing stayed pretty much door to door until we hit.... 65 The 350 sounded soooo good though :tup:

DakotaS60 Posted January 28, 2010 Author Report Posted January 28, 2010 Has anyone ever raced an 09 WRX? or ridden in one to see how fast it is? My cousin just bought one and I have heard that the WRX is faster in a straight line then the STi but don't really know anything else about them other then they are suppose to have like 250hp.
