Same ebay turbos T3/T4. one is properly tuned (by himself) on an AEM stand alone and the other has an off the shelf tune. One runs low 13s without slicks and the other runs 15s. Just goes to show you how much difference a good tune can make.
bum2kev Posted February 8, 2010 Report Posted February 8, 2010 My buddy has a turboed civic coupe d16 y8 at 12lbs on a 14b DSM turbo which is max what those motors can hold, which yields 210-220whp depending on condition of motor. Car weighs in at 2335lbs, mine weighs in at 36xx. We ran from a dig twice on a closed road. 1st race I got him by 3 cars, 2nd race i got him by 5 cars. Pretty sweet little car he has, its clean on rota slips. I have a video but its on facebook not youtube yet. I kept having to baby it through 1st and 2nd but still held the lead you can hear it in the video Facebook link cant view the video, its private.

Just because the majority of Honda owners rice them out doesn't mean they can't be fast.
