Ok, finally back from New Zealand, talk about land of the fart pipes!! But boy were those Skylines nice!! Saw some nice ones around the different towns. Saw about only 5 Volvos, and nothing special unfortunately. Really wish I had my Volvo with me, loved those 2 lane twisty NZ roads and riceburners galore to smack around.

Furthermore, my car is getting more and more tempting to just sleep in instead of the hotel.........

as for sleeping in your car...do it! use the money you would of used for a hotel room and spend it on the car! :D

The airplane ride was way too long, 12 hours from NZ to LA, then 4 hours from LA to Chicago.

Yea, perhaps the hotel room fees are better spent on the 18T upgrade planned for this summer......

Yep, and just called Carlisle and reserved a camping space for me and the car.........just in case beer pong gets the best of me and I can't make it to the hotel. :)

Oh ya...I drove from just before the first tunnel after Carlisle all the way until where that second pic was shot...if you guessed just after crossing into OH...you got it correct...lolol.

There is actually a cookbook somewhere for cooking meals on your engine during roadtrips...lolol
