I'd say buy the parts to freshen up the suspension, springs, struts/shocks and sways! Get Brian's c70 springs and struts, and a set of IPD 25/25 sways. You'll have the lowered look in front with the C70 springs and OEM ride comfy ride, but in the corners were it counts it will handle on rails. Or do a tune/16t and OBX exhaust. I even know of a good used Japan mani for ya. I'm going to try and make one of those intake pipes, seems like a easy upgrade. Maybe I'll build some coil overs. Calling for a possible crippling blizzard this weekend. I think I am going to go with Sconman's intake also... seems like a good install.. cosmetic and "performance" and not too pricey right now with the Anti-Sway bars. 855 Posted February 24, 2010 Report Share Posted February 24, 2010 I don't run those 17x7.5 comets anymore. I am on standard volans now. I shouldn't rub with 10mm spacers with 215/45/17 tires right? Im not sure as all cars vary from what i have read. But with Volans at 7 inches with a 10mm spacer you will stick out 4mm more than 7.5 Comets sans spacers. Most people rub at full lock, I dont.
