550
Yeah I was pretty fricken amazed. Hopefully the k24 will break me into the 13's. I would be happier then.

magicaljake
I know theres a few of us that run 13's with our t5m's on stock turbos, i only made 265whp and 380ft lbs. I'm holding off swapping the new turbo on til i break 12's hopefully before carlisle because i want to put the new turbo on before may i was knocking on 13's door with only a mbc @ 13 psi... now i should have no problems :)
550
Regardless of what turbo you have there, it looks to be WAY faster than mine. I'm running 14 psi with the k24. I mean I would have to say even at 17psi on my car you would still be a head. I need to get my water injection back on so I can advance timing a bit. Stupid winter. S8ET6
For a chance at 500 bucks? I ran a 13.2 on street tires, you should come to carlisle with Val and them from Ohio 13.2 on street tires, with a 16T? impressive. Can you post the time slip? I'm considering coming to Carlisle with Leroystew and the rest of the Chicago caravan
Snabb T5M
Yes, I'm finally back from New Zealand. Ok, I'll bite, I'm in for the call out. Let's pick a date, maybe next Sunday. I'm shocked that there isn"t a call-out page on VolvoSPEED used to post friendly, (legal) speed challanges - so this here's one! Leeee Roy. Come out and play-yay ! Beginning 3/7, US41 is open every Sunday @ noon for test/tune and grudge match racing. I expect to beat you thru the 1/8th, but with your trap speed, I also expect you to begin reeling me in somewhere around the 1/8th marker. It's just a question of do you have enough HP to get in front before the ¼ is over. Let's set something up and find out.

Wow. Are you sure the dyno was accurate? I looked up about 10 dyno threads in the Performance section, and the ONLY one I saw that broke 300 was Leroy...at 308 tq... 1998 S70 T5M; 100K+ miles; IPD Stage I ECU; 16T with extra large angled flange; EST RIP; R manifold; EST 3" DP; IPD 2.5" exhaust with TME muffler; MSD coil; EST air intake; balanced crank with LGSpeed rods; 3 angle valve job; Stylin Motors silicone hoses; IPD HD TCV; VIVA CBV; Koni struts; IPD springs/IPD sway bars; 302mm rotors; SS brake lines; SPEC III clutch, 17" IPD Pegs; Sconeman short shifter and delrin shifter bushings; TurboSmart Eboost2; ----14.08 @ 105.89 mph I'm not sure what it is about the S70 T5M that makes so much more TQ than the 850 auto, but for comparison, with an 18psi tune on the 15G and a 3" turbo back, I put down 263 tq - or 117 lb/ft less than your car. Is it in the trans? Something about the engine or cams? The difference in dyno numbers is huge. S70 manual makes way more power, mod for mod, than an 850 auto, according to all the dyno threads I've been reading.
Account_Deleted_T5M
Its a torque spike, since i'm internally gated, and i had a bad o2 sensor and a failing maf, i was only holding 13psi at 5200rpms, i have another dyno around here somewhere... i now run 20psi and hold 17psi - redline in 3rd and 4th gear and 5th are 22psi and 20psi redline Bad dyno So...you say your car made 380 tq at the wheels?! Wow. Are you sure the dyno was accurate? I looked up about 10 dyno threads in the Performance section, and the ONLY one I saw that broke 300 was Leroy...at 308 tq... 360 on this dyno and 380 is the best i ever made, 265whp is the best i ever made on a dyno You can see in the dyno graph that at 5k my torque is only at 300 and continues to die off I used to run 24-26psi and hold 22psi but its way out of the efficiency range off the turbo
L8 APEKS
That makes sense then! I was at 239whp with the chipped 15G/exhaust and auto. All of the Mitsus on our cars are internally gated...do you know what's causing that spike??

I'm still waiting to see a 13.2@106 timeslip.
