cheapwagon
So I am heading home from a Target run with the wife and kids and what do I see... a piece of shit late 90's Dodge Dakota with CFC and some random numbers written on it. I pulled up next to him and waived to the Hispanic gentleman as I drove by. I tried taking a pictar but I deleted it by mistake. (small touch screen, big fingers, and no are you sure prompt) It appears that maybe not every car was destroyed in that program. I am really not surprised. Just another example of another exploited government program that failed. 3
JVC
maybe the car went to the JY, they blew up the motor and then he bought it and swapped in a different motor and made it run again... lol 1

Fudge_Brownie
You're right. Sample size of 1 is representative of the entire program. I'm also not sure why him being hispanic is relevant. If we want to be racist, let's say he stole the car off the lot and that's how he ended up with the clunker. 3

Stormtrooper1
Makes sense... If the dealer hasn't turned in the paperwork, and the still get their $4500... I saw the back lot of the toyota dealer in the End of August when we bought our matrix, it was a scary site. Lots of good looking cars out there sent to an early grave. an Iphone pic so not the best, but every car in this pick is CFC
