ErikS
Little update .... Had some fun with Aaron today. As it is, the turbo is limitied by the WG setting up to 8 psi as the K24 seems to come with a lot of preload to the actuator. After Aaron took out the preload, we did some initial tuning and it pulls hard. We started from the tuned map and have so far only altered boost with a bit of WOT fuel adjustments doing some live in car tuning. Seeing about 12 psi in 3rd with a light boost spike of 2-3 psi on hard quick shifts. Again the bottom end is still stock. Any one else out there with a K24 and TT on M4.3, here is the boost map. BlackT5
Needs more boost!
ErikS
Needs more boost! Every "0" is 8 psi, its just a conservative start to the mapping, not a final tune on the stock internals. But yes, everything is better with more boost.
maciekb2002
TT and k24 , could be hard to come across. I can tell you that you can run 18-19psi on stock block. Just make sure that you will not exceed 10psi before 3500 rpms. Work with fuel map . Timing has a pretty good map that comes preloaded with tt.

Started with the tuned timing map, but no adjustments to it yet. Waiting for a proper dyno to log, and slightly larger injectors to mess with the timing and fuel, but it will happen! Mesoam
i'd like to see around 18psi on that thing even with stock bottom end, does TT offer gain control on boost?
ErikS
does TT offer gain control on boost? Its closed loop all the way, are you asking about the "0" bins to the bins that have values? I ran the turbo with zero preload without the BCS connected at all and maxed out at 8-8.5 psi all the way through the rpm band in all gears, and its not fadding once the BCS and the TT boost map take over. ErikS
Did a bit more bench tuning and went on the tollway for some 4th and 5th gear WOT pulls. Climbed to 16 psi before I let off. AFR's inbetween 12.5 and 11.5 at a quick glance just getting into 5th at WOT. Here are a couple updated pics. New intake. AFR, Boost, EGT gauges. Quick wash and sitting pretty ...

Guess I've been lucky so far. Erik, Nice set up!!! Planning on doing a dyno tune/test soon? I wanna get back on one again soon and see what I've gained.

Yeah Justus, I will likely at least do a power pull session to see where I stand right now. Feels real strong down low and in the 3500 to 5000 rpm range, but the upper rpm's feels like it could use some more timing, boost, and leaning out. I just don't want to blow the motor so quickly after getting it all together.
ErikS
Small update. Got some white injectors for a bit more fuel which should flow at 380 cc at 3 bar once they are cleaned and tested, which is more than enough fuel for my current goal of right around 300 whp. Dyno sheet coming soon.
shellshock
Sidemarkers on the front look like some beaner attempted to smoke them out with paint from AutoZone, but other than than that car looks sick. Good work man 2
