A Tribute To The Btcc Prototype

TorqueSteer

Recommended Posts

I decided to go with this look for the Summer, I have always liked the red and white look of the first 850 BTCC prototype wagon. I installed some 8" coilover springs, trimmed the rear coils and refinished the wheels. Im planning on getting rid of the huge tires in the rear and going lower, but they will have to do for now. Let me know what you think. Here a few quick driveway snaps, nothing fancy. Thanks

I have to be honest... I hated those wheels so much in silver. But since you painted them it's a complete turnaround. I LOVE them. Looks great!

I agree.

If you had your rear wheels flush with the body it would be soooo sick.

But It looks great regardless.

Is that red from the factory or a re-spray?

Thanks! I hated them too, I just put up with it for all these years

Thanks, the rear will be lowered shortly. What exactly do you mean by "flush with the body"?

I honestly have no clue about the paint; it seems factory, and the stamp under the hood says 601, but the hood and side skirts are repainted in 601 and are much brighter than the rest of the body.
