If you show, I'll have 3 R's, with you, Travzilla and NChoy, Danny and Spencer got on the failboat. (Hope Spencer's car's OK ) I would be happienr if more VSers showed, buncha round fenders coming. 2- 544's, 2-122's and 2-1800s. I've still got room if anyone else wants to brave the trip. Matt_ Posted June 5, 2010 Report Share Posted June 5, 2010 I should be there baring any unforeseen injuries tomorrow. Day two of the Manual swap is in the books. About 12 hours have gone into this so far. Transmission, gear selector, shifter cables, pedal assembly were installed tonight. Wiring is almost complete. All that's left is the drive shafts, clutch master, attaching the line to the slave and the reverse light wiring. Everything is done except for the drive lines. The automatic seals got delivered to the shop instead of the manual ones last week, we ordered new ones, and was delivered the same automatic ones again. Have to wait til Monday to get the correct ones now. But, The car fired up with no problems and no CEL's while it just idled there. PUTTING TRANNY BAK ON HOWEVER THERES A FLAT BAR THATS MOUNTS FREELY TO THE BELL HOUSIN BUT IS ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIFTING GEARS. SQR NOTCH ON TOP AND ROUND ON BOTTEM. I FIND IT A BIT CHALLENGING THE TRANNY's an inch away from the bell hsing but this bar is LIL SLICE OF HELL TO MANAGE. ANY TRICKS OR OBVIOUS METHODS I'VE OVERLOOKED?
