I was trying to make everything fit in the trunk because it was going to be left outside overnight, but then Marco said he would come back down and put it in the garage. AAA to tow it to TC to have them check it out. I was going to take the bus home, but it would end up being 3 hours, so I called Goobernoodles to give me a ride home. He wanted a boost gauge from anyway, Both Phil and Marco showed up about the same time and that is when Michelle called. Thinking broken valve spring right now as well as a possibly a bad lifter. Duff designed the course, but it was more like a TJ course. Hit rev limiter in 4 different locations in second gear. Pretty sure the valve train is stock, so it probably didn't like the 6800 RPM limit I have currently. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Zappo Posted April 3, 2012 Report Share Posted April 3, 2012 Well, you guys know what it is like. I have another car if I need to drive, but when you are driving your car hard, things will break. It is the reason I got AAA in the first place, where in the past I have had to rely heavily on others. Luckily, the Volvo people help each other out. Like usual, it was fun until it broke. T5Hammy Posted April 4, 2012 Report Share Posted April 4, 2012 So I finally got tired of my obx muffler rattling against the frame, I decided the best option was to remove it...wanna start a pool on how long it takes me to get pulled over for having a loud exhaust? T5Hammy Posted April 4, 2012 Report Share Posted April 4, 2012 Haha, I just figure I'd play stupid and say "wait it doesnt have a muffler, but I paid kitsap muffler a ton of money to make me a custom exhaust", I hate those guys they always over charge, cost me like 80 bucks to have an O2 bung and EGT bung welded into my DP, they didnt mention the price until it was done! T5Hammy Posted April 4, 2012 Report Share Posted April 4, 2012 Hmm...That makes sense, went to max rpm to talk about dyno time when i was running TT, they looked at me like a retard and wouldn't tell me shite about getting my car on their dyno, I have no Idea how they stay in business, I've heard their work sucks as well as being over priced!
