T5Hammy
My skidplate has saved me on numerous occasions. I don't run one (being broke sucks) but I'm also a pansy who only goes low for special occasions (I like drivability more than style haha)

T5Hammy
My car is very drivable. Pretty sure the roads in bremerton haven't been repaired since they went in, most places in the world I wouldn't mind being low, unfortunately where I live now just sucks. Kraske
So hypothetically speaking: If I were looking for something and an individual took advantage of that opportunity to try to sell me that item at higher price by an additional 25% than they were previously asking, would you guys want to know who it was so you could be wary of transactions with them? Kraske
Well, I was looking for an engine a while back right? So David from Canada messages me and tells me he bought an engine from a local guy but still hasn't been able to pick it up. He links me to this thread: http://forums.swedespeed.com/showthread.php?156539-Low-mile-Motor-amp-Tran-s-out-of-a-97-855-R and says he'll tell Dave (Scania on here) to get in touch with me. Dave proceeds to message me and asks for $1500 for just the engine. I play dumb and say I don't need a transmission with it and ask how much it would be for just the engine. He tells me that was just the engine price but that he could probably go as low as $1250 (which to his credit is a great discount off his initial price). Anyway, he's local so I figured you guys might want to know. I know it's his stuff and he can sell it for whatever he wants but the whole thing is just too sketchy for me. Trying to sell an engine that's already been sold for $1000 to me for $1250... I had half a mind to say I was picking it up for the original buyer and send Canada David the money for it when that was done. Anyway, the 854 manual that I needed it for is for sale on CL now if anyone is interested. It's not worth it to replace the engine at that price. MattSo yeah, Dave (Scania on VS). Be careful if you're dealing with him.
Kraske
In other news: V90R bumper in the works Also, someone buy this: http://seattle.craigslist.org/est/cto/2952677953.html (not my ad but I did all the work on that car... well, except blowing up the engine )

dereswyman
Ask Danny. I met him downtown to pick up a part and made it just fine. Downtown Seattle isn't bad at all. Venture out a bit further to Georgetown and you'll see why our roads suck so much.
