Kraske Posted December 16, 2012 Report Share Posted December 16, 2012 Okay, so it's like a normal emissions air pump then? My 72 Datsun had one like that. The future is now, lol. I only ask because the air pump on my V90 was plumbed into the crankcase breather on the top of the head (where 850s have a PCV hose). I'm guessing that the front O2 on my car shouldn't lean out as much as one on an 850 since the airpump on my car is pushing air through the engine rather than straight into the exhaust. I'm not sure the 850 diode trick will yield the proper voltage change to not trip a CEL. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
