Wish I knew. He was in the process of rebuilding my 18T when he went missing. I got one message from him two weeks ago then nothing. I actually have his phone number and have called it twice leaving messages. Not return calls. I wish I knew the name of the shop.

Nah, i've moved on. Even with the additional costs I've incurred I'm still under $800 for a 'brand new' 18T so it's not that big a deal I guess...

BTW I think the name of the company he is using is Turbo Power, not 100% sure though.

Thats in Cameron Park!!!! thats 5 minutes from me! I am not so sure he uses them. He lived in the L.A. area and 'visited' the shop. Cameron Park would be quite a drive.

He lives in Orange County, so he wasn't using a shop in Northern California. There are several different turbo shops in the LA / Orange County area. For that matter, no knows if he was going directly to the rebuilder or through a local speed shop.

I am still amazed no one actually insisted he inform who his rebuilder was before handing over any money or agreeing to a rebuild. At the end of the day, he is not a business and just playing middle-man - also those with rebuilds have no contact if there any problems with the turbo.

I have his phone number and have called him several times. Message box every time. My guess is something has happened military wise.

I visited the turbo shop in Cameron park. Nice place, turbos everywhere. They have done work for IPD in the past. I quizzed them a bit about Sean but they did not know him. They have done turbo upgrades on occasion but the price was different than what Sean was offering. There is no way Sean would drive 8 hours to a turbo shop...this is not the one.
