If some of you are in denial and think their is still a glimmer that he has a good explanation for this is rediculous to believe. Then again, this whole group buy might have just been one big fraud. I might be being a total moron here, but i think there's still a glimmer of hope with this. We're gearing up to accuse the guy of scamming us, but i'm not quite ready to lay blame yet. His reasons for being slow all seemed legit, however it's been 7 months!!! Also, i just find it hard to believe that Sean is willing to walk away from a forum(s) that he's been a part of for 4 years. The guy has over 8k posts over at TB and knows a few of the guys on the board. Why would he want to destroy all of that? After scamming me/us, word will get out quickly and everybody will know that he's a frickin cheat. I just find that a little hard to believe.... A good friend of mine is in the Army Reserves and he was called to Haiti with less than 3 weeks notice. He also was deployed to A-stan with less than two months notice. Special Forces or not, when they call, you come. Sean has been a stand up guy for years on Tbricks. I think you guys are getting all whipped up. Did somebody see him POST on these other sites? I leave my laptop and PC logged into my accounts all the time. If my sister goes to any of those sites, I appear online. It has happened before with my father and I being on Rennlist. Where are the threads he has shown up in? Proof that HE was there? I could be wrong. You guys could all be getting screwed. If so, sorry. I hope it all works out. There is enough info out there to get the ball rolling legally. I am sure one phone call to his local PD would let you spazz balls know where he is. A LEO will be able to tell you if he is deployed. But no, I have a better idea, sit here and poke each other with hot sticks until you are foaming at the mouths. If you guys don't want to call, give me his full name and town and I will call the PD. Naughty33W Posted July 5, 2010 Report Share Posted July 5, 2010 hey guys i just wanted to say that i've only ever seen someone get orders so fast they didnt have time to do anything ONCE - 4 years in the Army and i have never received a set of orders with less then 30 days notice (the norm) and have only seen a "sub 2 week" notice that one time just out of curiosity i asked my brother how it is in the reserves and he said they normally get more notice then us active duty guys :-/ to top it off , the odds of him shipping to germany for such a short period of time (not to mention on short notice) isn't even believable - there's nothing there that warrants tdy i could understand if he shipped here to fort huachuca for a couple weeks to do a class or something - or even for a few months - but even those wouldnt happen on such short notice just my Army perspective guys , take it as you will 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I never liked L8 as a person, we exchanged quite a few pm's on turbobricks, for various reasons, and even about these mods.
