You can't trust any of these big shops to listen to a customer. It's not in their nature. The chains frequently get tax breaks for hiring ex-offenders and commonly hire second rate auto-tech grads with bad attitudes. Monkey Lube has always gotten their fluids in bulk. 10W-30 oil and "universal" transmission fluid is all they're supplied. Questions and suggestions annoy and threaten them. NEU Posted July 13, 2010 Report Share Posted July 13, 2010 I don't need to worry about shops that hire bad apples at all, cause I do it myself. Flushes are super easy and take less then an hour and on +99 models only need a pair of pliers, a hose, a funnel and 3 one gallon bottles to dump the old fluid in.
