Over at TB they warned me for that sway connection on the lower arm but I think that applies more to your setup.. Specially with that surface rust. :)

You want the rims to be inside the fender? Can't you add some camber?

When I install the M40 and the DHLA carbs, I'm going to pull the engine and at that point I'll be pulling the front cross member and suspension pieces and bead blasting them. At that point I'll evaluate what needs to be reinforced and what needs to be replaced. The pieces were coated w/ undercoating and that is what is mainly rusting off. I've gone through w/ a center punch and checked everything out and the metal is still healthy.

I'm really wishing the Gotti's were 16"...

Thanks, I got a bunch more work done on the car this weekend. Got the b18 120 radiator mounted, had to raise it 3/4" and make tabs to mount the sides of the radiator (it's shorter and narrower than the stock B20 radiator for the 140's). Fits really nicely now. Also got the trans cooler mounted, it's mounted right behind the grill, can't see it, super clean install. Also got the e-fan mocked up and ready to install, just waiting for the e-fan wiring kit. All I need now is the brake lines and the aforementioned wiring kit and I hope to have the car on the road by the weekend. Want to drive it to work on Friday to shake things down. It hasn't been driven since April.

Trying to decide on tire size currently, a 205/45-15 is more realistic in terms of popularity, but I think it would be too small on this car and look lost. I'm thinking more along the lines of 205/55-15's.

What was the reasoning behind not installing the rear sway?

Swapped the front springs w/ the new Afco 5" x 6 5/8" #800 springs and removed the 5" x 8" #600 springs that were I installed last weekend.

This was also a reason I asked. As you may have noticed I'm the expert on not knowing anything about these cars. Did some searching and noticed that some of the iTB cars use front springs with a springrate near 650- 700 and a pretty big sway. Also the rear uses a sway with a springrate near 225-250. I wonder if an 800 front doesn't become to hard in daily usage.

Don't know which rate the springs i bought have. Drop should be 40 mm but as it looks now the front stance is to high.

Do the short springs stay locked in at full droop?

The reasoning was to promote some oversteer in the car, make it more exciting to drive. I'm running cut 240 wagon springs in the rear, so rates are probably along the lines of 225-250. We'll see how I like the car this weekend once I get it out on the road again. The springs compress and lock in, they're not going anywhere.

So, you are not running a bar in the back to get oversteer? Sounds backwards to me.

How so? It's RWD. It has a thick front sway bar, so it will want to oversteer. By not installing a rear bar, it will continue to promote that action instead countering it with a rear sway bar and introducing understeer. Makes perfect sense to me.
