Johann
How so? It's RWD. It has a thick front sway bar, so it will want to oversteer. By not installing a rear bar, it will continue to promote that action instead countering it with a rear sway bar and introducing understeer. Makes perfect sense to me. Well.. Yes and no but I think we simply can't argue with people like Rob and Towery.
brick-a-brac
Do you have power steering in that, Greg? If so, are you thinking of going to a manual box?
gdizzle
I do, and if I can find a box for cheap, I will.
Zappo
How so? It's RWD. It has a thick front sway bar, so it will want to oversteer. Ok, then I am backwards. :)
gdizzle
Had to push the 142 out of the garage in the storm to work on another friends car. Rocking miss-matched springs, notice the uneven stance on the front. DSC_5301.jpg by KeysarPhoto, on Flickr
Johann
notice the uneven stance on the front. Check the fenders? The spring you mean yellow on the left and black on the right?
gdizzle
Fenders are good to go... And yes, yellow is on the driver side and black are on the passenger side.
gdizzle
Wheels=done. Tires get mounted on Saturday. Just have to bleed brakes and wire up the e-fan and I'll be ready for h20. :D

gdizzle
It's a new setup at a new location this year, so I'm not sure where I'll be parked. There used to always be parking near the vendor areas, but last year they changed it, and then this year they changed it again. Maybe I'll be parked at the vendor tent, depending on how big our spot is. On another note, tires are mounted.
Wagoneer855
Pics of wheels/tires?!! If 142's are anything similar to 240's (which I assume they are) adding a rear bar definitely makes the back come alive. Makes a 115hp NA B230F feel like a big block V8 in the rain :)
gdizzle
Suspension wise, they're night and day. DSC_6701.jpg by KeysarPhoto, on Flickr Got the brake lines swapped, brakes bled, pass side spring swapped, radiator mounted, e-fan mounted, most of the e-fan wiring done, e-fan temperature sensor installed, and a few other things here and there. All that's left to do is install lower radiator hose, find keyed power and splice into it and fill it up with coolant and go. Looking forward to driving it to work on monday. :D
