T5power
Yes you would need one of these two ill find out later today if its the b8.4 or b8.5 B8 8.4/8.5 Also why would you need 20 of the warning bulbs ? they are ment to light up a different color like the CEL it lights up orange so if you were to put a Blue led behind it i would show up green ? Dont get me wrong you did a GREAT Job on this writeup, but to me it just seems like a waste of money to get all the extra warning bulbs is all BTW Thanks For this write up, im putting my order in today for the wifes S70 hahai didnt replace all 20, i did all the ones that pop up commonly. Tracs, ABS, CEL, Park Brake, Service. i felt like those bulbs would be the quickets to burn out, just preventative maintenance all i did was replace the RED warning indicators with RED leds, the abmer ones with amber, and the blue hi beam indicator with white, makes it look great! --Aaron--
Great write up, your information was the reason I was prepared when I pulled my cluster to install all new light bulbs.
njbrickwithboost
That's pretty awesome man. Thanks for the info. Just out of curiosity before I rip my guage cluster out.....can I make the speedo guage color different than the needle color? Just curious? Thanks Steve P
timebandit
Very good info but I want to confirm the socket type. I have tried to change the bulbs for the milage and clock/info. I gave now tried both socket B8.5d and B8.3d and they won't really fit! Is it really a T5 socket (glass) for these? //Kensy

Thanks. Seemed to be correct. A few more quiestions please. The mileage cluster and info cluster went ugly blue/turquoise with a white lamp. Is there a LED that will match the regular bulbs? Also the turn signals went to the same ugly colour. Will a regular green LED (no SMD/SMT) do for the turn signals or should there be SMD/SMT there too? Thanks for replying. This forum has helped me more than the swedish ones has been able I just ordered green ones now. Also I ordered white and blue with lower power to see if that helps with the nasty colours.

Mr. Detail
Can I put a LED bulb in the rear fog lamp? I forget the standard part number bulb.
T5power
Can I put a LED bulb in the rear fog lamp? I forget the standard part number bulb. yes, you could technically do that, but the Brake lamp LED's currently produced are not really cost effective to the light output they have. if you're a custom DIY guy, contact member Serge and he might be able to give you some insight on custom taillight setups. T5power or Serge, Would this bulb work in the rear fog spot without any circuitry interruption? http://www.amazon.com/3A-Racing-47-61560-1156-Piece/dp/B000CREOVM
