flaco
Just when I think my car is pefect... its not. The heater core is leaking. Anyone has any experience with the aftermarket (ie cheaper one) from FCP? Besides washing it thoroughly before installing (binglax right?), how do / are they holding up? --Aaron--
Honestly the known working OEM core is only a little over 100 bucks, why not go that route for piece of mind? Aftermarket cores aren't going to last as long as OEM... When I ordered my OEM heater core I actually used eEuroparts.com, it was cheaper than FCP for the same core even with our discount. This was a few months ago, no idea if pricing has changed....
Dick Dastardly
my local foreign car parts shop got me a Behr (company that makes em for Volvo) for $118.00...go with Volvo or Behr. its worth it imo
Commander Riker
Give it a shot. It's easy enough to swap out if it doesn't work.
phenom1979
The one I put in from FCP is doing fine, but then again it hasn't been in that long
Keaton85
FCP has a lifetime warranty sooooo.... As long as I get atleast a year out of the core I could care less. It takes less then 30mins to swap out. Just clean it real well!!!!!!
