So why are you doing it, and without a disclaimer that you don't hold your customers as a priority? For the record, I think Kit's a jackass, and the evidence is in his previous threads, and I think he should have contacted you. But that doesn't excuse you from telling us you're too busy to speak with the people who buy your parts. No your misreading or misunderstanding. What I am saying is I do things as quick as possible and some times it may take some time to get answers for questions. In THIS case, I was never contacted by KIT until today around noon, he never asked me for help or asked any questions about installation... He emailed me a day or two after he posted his problems. When he did contact me, the only thing he asked for was a refund. he never asked "hey i am having a problem getting this installed, is this the correct way to do it?" He had my phone number the entire time, I probably answer the phone 80% of the time when it rings... if i am in the middle of something or i cant hear it (the lathe, air compressor, and other tools can drown out the ringer) I will call or email the person back. Ideally I would have complete write ups with video and picture walk throughs of the ins and outs of every product but I dont have the time to do something like that. prasamin Posted June 30, 2011 Report Share Posted June 30, 2011 You did do it wrong, you cross threaded the studs on installation and created a burr.... you shouldn't ever vice grip a threaded fastener you plan to use. I have check every stud out of the 800 that were made your 2 studs were the only ones with issues... i took 30 seconds ran a die over the threads and it worked perfectly. dude, vice gripping them and taking a picture of it after trying EVERY other method....it was to prove to you that they were not right. but anyway, my $10 issue was resolved. i hope you can resolve this $850 issue. And it also doesn't mean that you should come to VS to badmouth Ben, deserved or not, before first getting in touch with him about the issue. Immediately demanding a refund without first discussing the issue isn't a great way to resolve your issues either. Yes, you had trouble getting them on, and you're obviously frustrated by the fact that you spent so much money on something that you can't make work, but every action I've seen you take in this situation has just made it more and more difficult for you to actually get the problem resolved. Only redeeming factor here is that you seem to grasp the mistakes you have made, but I fail to see you understanding and implementing those lessons! Think back to our favorite tuner buddy around here, Phil, and how he was constantly going off with crazy knee-jerk reactions to what people were saying. Yes, the general VS population loves this shit, but you're just giving them more reason to burn you at the stake, just like he did... /preach-mode off.
