Kaplhenke Adj Control Arms

if Doug has/had them, (i remember seeing him get the Kaplhenke coilovers as well) why hasn't he posted anything ripping Kaplhenke or his products? i'll tell you right now, if i got these, and ANYTHING went wrong with them; outside of a few yrs of wear and tear and ball joint replacement - i'd be on here crucifying Ben.. nobody's done that. not with ANY of his products. so let's get over the price and down to actual FACTS about these please

What 850/x70 parts is he 'putting through the paces' with his 240?

IIRC, Doug did post about issues.

As did I with a different part (actually the coating he used).

Again, you're proving that you're not actually doing research.

ok, so your issue is with 'coating' and not performance. ok. and did doug remedy the problem or just complain? you said he had 'other' issues that could play part in the alignment? couldve been the coilover setup or camber plates? what did he do to remedy the problem and were the ARMS the actual problem? i find it hard to believe he just tossed $850 control arms.. stop being his lawyer and stop telling me i need to 'research' when nothing about my question is being answered via old postings lol.. and it seems you like to cut on posts, so you should be happy im doing this; gives you something to do in your miserable life :o)

lol, that's part of the problem here fits, i dont think anyone has anything concrete about these; which makes it strangly interesting to me lol. and i just dont think this is a topic that has been discussed (@ least enough) to warrant the flaq im getting? again, i think the price has ppl so against even considering them, that ppl want to focus on that, rather than the benefits of the part.. so when i ask, it's opinionated answers like, "spend your money on..." instead of telling me through experience if they suck! sheesh. why is this topic ruffling feathers? the only ppl responding should be ppl who have them - PERIOD

i'd read a discussion posted back awhile on swedespeed with these arms and what i gathered was basically ppl hating on the price and not necessarily on the product... how could you if you dont have them ya know? then a few ppl bought them but never said anything afterwards (good or bad). this is basically why i posted the question on here... i mean, anything is great when it's new, but i wanted to hear from ppl who had them over a long period of daily driving, racing or both.. if Doug has/had them, (i remember seeing him get the Kaplhenke coilovers as well) why hasn't he posted anything ripping Kaplhenke or his products? i'll tell you right now, if i got these, and ANYTHING went wrong with them; outside of a few yrs of wear and tear and ball joint replacement - i'd be on here crucifying Ben.. nobody's done that. not with ANY of his products. so let's get over the price and down to actual FACTS about these please

1. Doug did post about the control arms and other of Bens items.

2. Doug left this site shortly after he installed them.

3. Doug sold the car shortly after he installed them.

4. Doug hasn't owned the car or anyother kaplehnkehalkdsfa items in years.

Buy them, wait 8 months for them to be built and prove us wrong. The topic isn't ruffling feathers, you are.

im glad you read my last post "gdizzle" lol... esp the part that says "the only ppl responding should be ppl who have them - PERIOD" now i know you read that cause you pasted it on your post.. that being said, i did talk to Ben and he said it would be 4-6 weeks.. quite the departure from "8 months" huh? and being that it's Feb here in New England, i dont think i'll be getting under the car anytime soon right? so where's the link to Doug's posts? he the only guy on earth to buy these? so we're basing the conclusion on a ghost post from 1 guy (who isn't here anymore) who had them for a min, then sold the car.. COOL

You obviously don't know Ben. I do. Take that 4-6 weeks, turn them into months, then multiply it by 2. You will receive your round about time that you can expect to receive your control arms.

lol, ok ok. let's be *nice now alright? i never had a problem with anything you guys posted. i take most posts into consideration; which is why i created this thread in the first place.. so far, and correct me if im wrong, i still have only heard the one instance (doug's) for some negative feedback on these. still haven't found the thread on that, AND that ben takes forever in making his stuff and his customer service is crap. can we ALL agree that this is the general consensus on this thread? ok, so we still have no hard evidence that the arms themselves are crap? forget money, Ben as a person, etc etc.. so im still kind of on the fence. the feedback i was looking for was "they're awesome" or "they suck" NOT "they're too expensive" and "Ben takes 8 months" - this only tells me you guys dont have the money and dont like Ben, lol.. nothing about the control arms themselves still.. know what i mean?
