Also, interesting story on how Reid and Obama made a pact not to budge way before the Budget stand-off shut down the government. They knew what their BATNA was.

'm waiting to see what happens. i have what will fall under LUXURY coverage, so i'm getting dinged i'm sure.

My wife's contract is up at the end of this school year. i'm sure Health care will be a big point of contention on this contract.

I looked at the Gold package that is similar to mine... $1300 more a month than what my employer offers. (different) but still crazy

Mike,

How do you feel about providers dropping people from their health plan because it does not meet the requirement of the ACA? The option for those people would to go to the exchange find another plan which most likely would be more expensive?

well its a very wide/difficult/personal question. My opinion is my opinion.

I haven't talked with this dist. since ACA came into law, but i was talking with one of my larger dist. about National HealthCare.

His plan was to drop all his employee's when the law came into effect. Whatever he spent on their health care, he was going to give them a 2/3 that amount pay increase.

i said OK, what about the following year? he was steimmed and hadn't thought that far out.

POINT is, people are talking big right now, but haven't done the research or explored the LONG TERM move.

UPS bunch of others are saying big layoffs, PAPA JOHNS raising prices etc. Lets see what the market says.

a person has the right to Quit a job over pay, they also have the right to quit over Health care. Whats the most important to you. ? .

Well what if the person can't quit their job over pay or quit it over Health Care? that is the case for a lot of people in the US.

I think the fact that a lot of people dont know how it will affect them or their business is a sign that this should have been pushed back and/or reconfigured.

HHS says that millions of people have gone to the site but have they said how many people have signed up?

hell, i've been to the site too.

everybody has a job to educate themselves. It isn't the PRES's job to come to your kitchen and explain it.

i'd bet .50 that the REP hired people to DDOS the site lol.

I agree. But people dont educate themselves or dont care or dont have the opportunity. Shit, I bet the majority of people uninsured could not tell you want a deductible is.
