URO_S60
I know a lot of people go for the strong RSI rods but does any company make a stroker kit (with new crank, rods and pistons)? Was thinking if anyone has went for a 2.8ish stroked 5 cyl? I'm going to Korea for a while and will be banking a lot of money and was seeing about going with a bigger displacment and complete rebuild. I haven't seen any threads or heard about anyone trying but wanted to know if people have tried anything like this?...Sorry for the typo in the topic name :(
ozzimark
For a crank, you're pretty much limited to getting the Volvo 93.2mm stroke crank to increase stroke. You can go way up on the bore by putting in some sleeves, boring the cylinders out to ~87mm (max as specified by Darton), and get some custom pistons made to match. That would bump the displacement of the 5 cyl up to 2.64L. There may be a few swedish companies that make stroker cranks, but I don't know of any off the top of my head. wizzard_al
See Sten Parner Motor, items # 13 and 14: http://www.stenparnermotor.com/default.aspx?NodeId=90 100 mm stroker cranks, to get 2600 or 2730 cc. Must be with either 81 or 83 mm bore.
