Black Betty
So I traded a spare T5-R owners wallet for some E code corners a little bit ago, and the guy I traded with sent me some pictures of his visit to the Volvo Museum, Apparently he also works as a power train engineer for Volvo as well First T5-R ever produced Its funny to see all the yellow corners

FCP Euro
I like how the first 850R still has the intake tube go over the engine, like it should have been for all the turbo 850s and S70s.

crixen
I don't understand... why no factory rip kit? That was the original design for the RIP when the Turbo / T5 came out in late 93, but it got recalled since some customers had problems with ice building up in the pipes. Not just ice. Oil. water, blow-by. They realized the easy change was to swap it to the current configuration. Total power loss...
Keep Calm Chive On
I have the OEM OTE pipe! its not some night & day change especially if you were to buy one elsewhere for upward of 400 darra but I will say it helps out on the top end accoding to my glutious maximus dyno. just seems stronger up top. I thought that the cooling creating condensation that could cause the throttle to stick open (or shut) in extremely cold climate was the reason for running it the way it is now. Im not a scientist so whatever haha but I have it & I like it for 50 darra. I take it off often because I clean shit a lot just because I like knowing its clean & I have never seen any obnoxious build up from blow by or anything of the sort. maybe im just lucky. Was the 1st T5R ever produced literally made & put into the museum or was it owned by someone driven around and then the museum somehow got it back? Im just curious if it still says like 1 mile on the odometer haha

iPd Cameron
The museum is rad. I toured it a few years ago. I was there in April which is pretty much off season and as a result and we were the only ones in the whole place. We did the factory tour before that and there were plenty of people on that, but not once did they mention the museum which seemed weird. It's only like a 10 minute bus ride from where you do the factory tour. I think I have a couple hundred pictures from the museum. I'll have to see if I can dig up that old memory card from that camera.

Black Betty
Please add more to this if you have them. I'd be nice to see a whole collection of photos from the museum for those of us that haven't had the opportunity to go.
