mdlimy
how do you intend to deal with the lack of transmission tunnel? just lots of cutting and welding? decided on a transmission yet? im happy so far with my adapter plate, quality and tolerences are spot on, my flywheel is being redrilled to accept the bmw pressure plate although you could use a t5 tranny with a 960 bellhousing and use an adapter like buchka brothers used, im sure he would send you the drawing for the adapter and you could have one cut, downside is t5 trannys are weak in stock config. I agree it will be tricky, but I think you underestimate the amount of room there is down there.

Piston Slapper
Although, with the 900/90 series being out there... I'm afraid I don't exactly see the point in converting an 850. The volvette proved you can put the 850 front on it if you really want the looks, and it's far easier to do than this.
JVC
I have a like brand new set of T6 exhaust manifolds... if you want them they're yours for the cost of shipping. Keep up the good work! -John

It would be nice to see a RWD 850, i wish they were RWD tbh. But i feel like if they were they would be so much more money in the used market because of the drifting fad. maciekb2002
Thanks for offer with exhaust manifolds . Volvo parts supply for me is not an issue i have almost a volvo junk yard at one of the places i work. If i need anything don't worry i'll be posting it right here. Tranny choiice is w58 toyota from second gen toyota supra . Getting picked up this afternoon . Bell housing is removable so will use adapter plate from 960 bell housing to w58. Tunnel for tranny ? If we need to we cut and weld so it should be fine . I want to focus on the rear part of the car before we move towards the front

maciekb2002
To today dirty job was done. I truly hate working on S80 chassis and engine. That huge tranny and no space to stick a finger between anything. Tomorrow I have to separate block for tranny and tread it with some gunk remover .
