Kellen850
http://volvospeed.com/obd2/subinstall1.htm I've been taking a look at this guide and it is WONDERFUL. I recently purchased a 12" Alpine Type R in a ported box along with a mounted MTX Audio 801D Thunder 1600W. The guide has explained to me how to wire the sub so it has power, and how to ground it, but I'm baffled as to how I hook the sub itself up to the deck, I have the factory installed deck, below is a picture for reference. I am, by pretty much all standards, a car audio newbie so don't slay me for not knowing Also if there you have any recommendations on specific wiring kits etc. I should buy I'd be much obliged. Kellen850
that cable looks short, if my amp is in the trunk mounted to the box how can i reach from the deck to there?
BEJinFBK
That's just the adapter to get your preamp level signal out of the HU. Once you have it to RCA, just use regular RCA cables of the length you need and a single conductor for the remote turn on.
