The auction site is more uniform and efficient to navigate, all while providing an additional level of security for peer to peer transactions. There are plenty of other places to post for sale ads if you do not want those features. Quote

They just click the link through the forum UI which takes them to the "auctions" page which isn't really an auction site. I don't understand why there are 2 separate classified sections and I don't think anyone else does either. It just makes for a fragmented hard to use experience. Which gets the most clicks, the "auctions" link in the forum UI, the classifieds button at the top, or the for sale feed forum? Quote
