Smithwicks Posted September 28, 2011 Report Share Posted September 28, 2011 Thought I might try and kick start a meet sometime in October, throw an idea and dates out there and see what sticks. Back in Chicago the MWC has had a meet going for the past two years at a brewery & restaurant in the Chicago burbs. Pretty much a low key, grab lunch, sip on a brew if you want and talk cars. After that maybe go for a quick cruise and take some pics. Both years we had a good showing with most of us showing up. (10 or so cars) Figured I'd see if we wanted to get a meet like that together for sometime in October (9th, 16th). Looking at places down here in San Diego that have a good location, decent reviews plus lots of parking and Karl Strauss popped up. Looks like that Karl Strauss location is only open Sunday midday.
