didn't i yell at you earlier about trying to start isht here...  if you're not going to contribute to ACTUAL car talk.. then why don't you just go away.. m'kay.. thanks!

So you can blab all darn day with your Pro-Bush shaz and he can't post this?

Edit: Point taken about this "Plant and run" fella. However, my money is that suspect Volvo chick is someone already on here...? Either way, be nice!

George Bush told us we were going to Iraq because he was a threat to our country, and that he supported Al Qaeda. Well, they haven't found the WMD's he told us Iraq had (and that John Kerry was told Iraq had). Still no ties to Al Qaeda either. What ever you want to go to war for, just monkeyin say it. Don't lie and then go "Whoop, bad intel. Sorry folks!"

why is everyone afraid of a president who actually has the brass ones to admitt when he was wrong [more accurately, mislead] ... there were no lies to the public, unlike a certain prior president... there was no spinning the truth or avoiding the issue... knuckeheaded liberals just want something to hang on to in hopes of dismantling Bush - NEWSFLASH... the admition of wrong does not make someone weak or incapable, it is when the wrong is lied about or ignored or covered up that should cause concern...

yes, there are apparently no WMDs currently in Iraq... one can only make that conclusion after a thorough check... to reiterate a previous point... how stupid and thickheaded would it be for an administration to ignore a threat to the US based on the hopes and assumptions that a proven terrorist dictator would suddenly play nice

again, to repeat another point made... WMDS ARE NOT THE ONLY REASON WE ARE OVER THERE!!!... listen people... gosshhhhh!

to comment on the issue in the Sudan region... a sad sad situation, yes... however a civil war in a country presenting no threat to the US is not even close to an accurate comparison... though I do not know details I do beleive it is ignorant to think that the Bush administration is completley ignoring that situation [a situation which has been going on for many years prior to Bush, mind you]

think Iraq has no ties to Al Qaeda or any other terrorist group/faction? ... who the eff do you think is being shipped in from around the would and is contributing to the insurgency? nope no ties at all, they are a completely different group, no association whatsoever

for one to say that 1,300 American lives have been wasted is stupidity beyond ignorance... those Americans contributed more to this world in their young lives than many of us will in our lifetimes combined

NEWSFLASH: Even bush has admitted there are NO hard ties between Iraq and 9/11. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/3118262.stm So is Bush lying then? The 9/11 panel found no ties http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/artic...-2004Jun16.html, http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/5223932. However Saudia Arabia has hard ties to 9/11, terrorism and Bin Laden but Bush has chosen to pardon them for some reason. There was no insurgency in Iraq until we invaded. We have taken a non-islamic state and turned it into a haven for radical islamists to live and attack our troops.

Saying that Bush has wasted their lives is not stupid. It is the truth. They died because Bush couldn't just admit he wanted to invade Iraq for its oil. Bush can keep on waffling on his reason for going to war but it doesn't make any of the reasons right. A real leader can admit they have made grave mistakes and misjudgements.

Apparently you don't watch the news. The Iraqi oil infrastructure is attacked everyday. It is sorta hard to pump oil and when it's on fire. I suppose someone as stupid as yourself wouldn't know that though. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/3809587.stmhttp://www.cnn.com/2004/WORLD/meast/06/16/iraq.oil.prices/http://www.arabicnews.com/ansub/Daily/Day/...2004101805.html

First off, let me give you my biggest award ever - you are now officially the "Biggest Liberal Media Lemming I Know." No one cares if there are direct ties with 9/11 and Iraq. The war on terrorism is a war on terrorism, not a war on the people who hurt us on 9/11, and if you think Iraq isn't a terrorist nation then maybe it's because you've only been watching the news for a few years now. Go back and watch all of the news on Iraq from the past 20 years and say that Iraq isn't a terrorist (and terrorist run) nation.

Do you know what insurgency is? I think I defined insurgent a few threads back in this forum for every idiot who doesn't know. There was no insurgency because Saddam instilled an overwhelming sense of fear in his people who might think of rebelling. There certainly were some who tried and they ended up locked in Saddam's basement and tortured to death.

And if you think Iraq is a non-islamic state you need to go read a book. If you think turning it into a US warzone makes it a haven (and go look up haven, too, you obviously don't know what it means, either) then you need to go read about a thousand books.

Apparently you don't watch the news.  The Iraqi oil infrastructure is attacked everyday.  It is sorta hard to pump oil and when it's on fire.  I suppose someone as stupid as yourself wouldn't know that though.

Apparently you think watching the news gives you a clear view of what is going on in Iraq, but you are either watching an icnredibly biased news source or you're not even paying attention? Were you doing your pre-algebra homework while you watched?

You think we are trying to take the oil? We aren't theives. We are changing Iraq, but we don't own it. It's not our oil. We aren't going to take it whether we would like to or not. The only way oil plays into this war is (1) yes it will be a better source, perhaps, if the new iraqi government decides they like us and (2) the insurgent forces have been lighting oil fields on fire in order to distract US troops from their real mission in iraq. US forces have had to spend time putting out fires which have nothing to do with the war because it is our duty as citizens of this world to protect its scarce natural resources from idiots like the insurgents who keep lighting it on fire to create a distraction. It's part of what we call "guerilla warfar" - it's the use of annoyances to fight against an army much more powerful than the army of the insurgents. We wouldn't be pumping oil though, even if it wasn't on fire, because it isn't ours.

Edit: and another thing, we haven't pardoned Saudi Arabia, we're just not as worried about them for good reasons.
