Ok so I think I pm'ed this to all the SoCal guys I could find, if not I hope they see this here...

I have Justin and James stuff already, Justin I don't think I have your # though

Alrighty guys and gals,

So I thought of something while we were all talking at the meet today not knowing every bodies numbers/emails/contact info.

What I did when I was in the NW was I organized a spreadsheet of usernames/real names/phone numbers/emails/etc. I think this would work for the best since we have a lot of members who don't frequent VS very much and might miss out on the few meets that we actually have, annnd you wont have to read through 6+ pages of justin, tom, james and i just chatting lol. Plus if your ever selling/buying/or need something it usually works out pretty well.

So if you want to be added to the contact list you can pm me or email me directly, either way is easy. Hope to see you all at the next meet. Had a boat today!

My email btw is

spe ncer win kler@gmail.com NO SPACES, I just hate how easy it is to search for your email on google lol

And here's the format

Your username:

Your real name:

Car you drive:

Email address:

Phone number:

Thanks guys

Spence

Can I tell you how to do it over the phone? Lolol or you wanna see where Ozy ozbourne lives? Lololol

Is ozzy handy with a wrench?

Im sure I could do it by myself...just how long it would take is the question. I can only afford the car to be up on jacks for a weekend.

Didn't you do your pcv? That's like 10x's more difficult than brakes

Yeah I did. I guess since its something I've never dealt with before, Im a little iffy about it. Maybe its just the swapping out brake lines that has me a little worried. Who knows.

Ah your oing lines, that's a little bit more difficult. The first time I flush my brake fluid whn I first bought my car i think I did it like three times, but that was just me being impatient and stupid lol

You're worried due to my experience in swapping out the brake lines and calipers on the S70 last year Tom. If you were still local in the MWC I'd be happy to help you - but you moved.:(

Flared nut wrenches are critical. That and some heat. You're going SS brake lines, right? In that case, only do the rear ones if you absolutely have to (cracking showing) since they don't get the same level of stress as the front ones do and they're a PITA to change. From my experience, if you're replacing the lines to SS because you think they're going to improve braking, the change is not that dramatic unless you're upgrading to larger rotor and calipers.

If Im going to do it by myself I think ill get everything else done then do the lines some other time...or even just get a indy to hook em up.

This is what I would do - in fact it is what I did.
