washdup
Tell me about it. Speeding? Where? Which agency tagged you? Laser/radar/pacing, etc. What was posted/recorded speed?
The Big Tuna
Speeding yeah. 22350VC Got pulled over in West Hills on victory & Banquit. Pulled over by a LAPD bike cop So here is my issue. Posted speed is 40,he said he "got me" at 65, I don't think I was going that fast and in the ticket it says EST 65/40, so that kind of showed me he guessed as well, And the rest of his description I cannot read at all. I honestly don't know wtf he wanted me to do? There was a lady in a silver civic that did an illegal u-turn across four lanes and looked like she was gonna t-bone me, she did not see me at all. If I would have kept the same speed I would have been hit, I give up lol Thanks if you got any recommendations Mitch Spence
washdup
Did he check the box that says "radar" (or "laser")? There is a speed trap defense that may apply under certain circumstances if radar or laser was used. You should check out helpIgotaticket.com. If you think you need a lawyer, there is an L.A. traffic-ticket lawyer named Sherman Ellison who does nothing but handle traffic violations. I recently fought a laser ticket in Malibu (60 in 45). I spent hours writing my argument and took a half-day off work to appear in court. I lost. The easiest way to win is if the officer doesn't show up for the trial. It does happen, but no guarantees. The Big Tuna
There isn't a box for that, I looked earlier, these tickets are difficult to read as oppose to WA tickets. He did write "Passing" on the last line of the description. Thank you though! I'll look into it some more Spence

The Big Tuna
You do know your car brakes faster than it accelerates correct? No I didn't, I put the $2k worth of brakes on the car for cosmetic reasons;) I don't want/care/need to get into a debate on how to drive, I had a split second to made a decision, I made the wrong on, so please spare me fatherly advice. I did not want to be hit by the third Asian lady in te last year, and it cost me lol
