rmorse
Ordering a bunch of parts that I need, and I wanted to double check on these two... http://www.fcpgroton.com/product-exec/product_id/16711/nm/Volvo_850_Turbo_Oil_Sump_O_Ring_Kit_1994_1997_OEM_ I need to drop my oil pan and replace the o-rings. Is that the kit I want? Or is there a different kit that's better? I really don't want to do this twice.... Also, I need to replace my front motor mount, passenger side. Is this what I want: http://www.fcpgroton.com/product-exec/product_id/3165/nm/Volvo_850_Turbo_Front_Right_Lower_Engine_Mount_1996_1997_/category_id/109 Or should I get Volvo OEM on this guy? Thanks all.
phunktified
I've got that engine mount in both my cars with no issues .. I'd say thats a good place to save almost 100 bucks over the oem part ...

erikv11
That is indeed to o-ring kit, it will cover you. On the motor mount I haven't replaced that one in a long time, but most here will tell you go OEM. I will when it comes up.
Vagabond
I went after market from FCP and have had no problems on that mount. My OE was destroyed and the engine was suspended by the subframe.

I drive kinda fast and the roads here are crap, so I don't know if that contributed.

phunktified
the cheap mounts are fine, I've done over 10k on one as well and its holding up fine .. I won't be buying an oem one for $100+ when you can get these for $20.. especially since it only takes 30 mins to install...
rmorse
Oh ok. I haven't really looked into the install yet, but if it's super easy, then that answer that. I'll go with the $20 one.

Its 4 bolts .. 14 and 17mm. put car on jackstands, pull wheel, open flap, loosen bolts/ jack up engine lil bit via pan w/ 2x4, remove, replace, let back down a bit, torque, done..
