BtownVolvo
And I think you'll have something to work with by the time you get there. Yep! Got 'em yesterday. Thanks again mang!
lookforjoe
I think they will look great once the surround is resolved. They definitely look odd in the pic of the XC - startled rather than aggressive, for sure.
lengendsecko87
Keep working on them. Make it look like the projectors are supposed to be there instead of awkwardly being there. When I had just the projector headlights I thought they looked cool at first but then realized they look like poo. Then I stuck the orange corners on the side and all of a sudden it looked liek they were supposed to be there. Here's a picture of them at night: Close Up: And I forgot to show this, my highbeams:
RZT5
In light of VS's responses in this thread, I have decided to offer two more bezel options with the X70 Bi-Xenon kit. The first will still be CNC billet aluminum like the original, but with a design focused on accentuating headlight depth. We will also be offering a less expensive plastic bezel option. Please visit my thread in member announcements for pictures and for more information.

andyb5
Already voted on the new shrouds. Great work, and once again, huge props for developing this kit!

TaskMule
I think if everything was blacked out I'd be fine with it. This.
NJGreenBudd
Some cool setups in here. Hmm, looks like the RZ design has changed quite a bit, much more conventional look to the shroud. I think the plastic one looks pretty good anyways. I used the regular mini gattling shroud that comes with the H1 Minis. I added the ABM signals, looks much better but still don't know whether to leave the high beam silver or paint it black to match. Kinda wanted some silver to keep it contrasting but it's just to sharp, too unfinished. I'll try it like this first once it's wired up, can always repaint the housings. What do you guys think? It may look pretty sweet if you round the edge of the high beam reflector to follow the contour of the bowl versus the way it is squared off now, I think it would give a rounder look and eliminate the sharp look you refer to, that way you may like the way the contrasting color looks, yet not have it too sharp. NJGreenBudd
Yeah that's what I was thinking, the split right down the middle doesn't flow very well. I'm going to redo the high beam edge this weekend and try to get them wired up. Thanks for the input!
NJGreenBudd
Okay last time hijacking this thread. Well I didn't get them repainted but I complete the other side and got them wired up. Bright ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD SMD LED DRL
(n)A-GAME
I sure hope you're joking that those are your DRL's.
NJGreenBudd
You're correct, it's a LED DRL bulb in the high beam socket. It only lights when I move the stalk to the high beam position, looks bright but projects no light, the actual usueable high beam light comes from the Bi-xenon projector. Hope that makes more sense.
