DevolvR Posted March 16, 2012 Report Posted March 16, 2012 Axis Shine 19"x8.5 ET35 5x110 installed with extended Wobble/Offset/Variation bolts. Looks like I'll need to start cutting dead coils to have a lower stance as I'd like to keep the 4C working. Running spacers front and back, but I might pull the front ones as the poke on the fronts are a bit silly looking. Totally different look from the CKs I had mounted before. Thoughts? Sorry for the shat pictures, best I have for now. And looks like I need fresh paint as this winter's salt (with no snow) has wrecked havoc on my lip and front bumper...
FINN Posted March 16, 2012 Report Posted March 16, 2012 I like them a lot. Just push the rears out some more instead.
DevolvR Posted March 16, 2012 Author Report Posted March 16, 2012 I like them a lot. Just push the rears out some more instead. I'd love to. Need to roll the rear fenders to do so, they are at the physical limit right now and grazing the fender.
exexpat Posted March 16, 2012 Report Posted March 16, 2012 Rear needs to come down a tad. I have to look through the bad photos to see the beauty, but I like them. Better pics - then you can post on a site with "stance" in the domain name.
trs80 Posted March 16, 2012 Report Posted March 16, 2012 I like the wheels in your sig more. PS. Your neighbors are lazy. Christmas lights still up in March? I would be hella pissed.

I thought I did too but these are a different look, got tired of the multi-spoke mesh no lip subtle look... oh yeah, tell me about it. Pretty much a norm in the area I live in, mostly Asian homeowners that put them up 5 years ago and never took them down. And for the record, I'm Asian as well.... Here's a funny image, roll back 2 years ago... Rear needs to come down a tad. I have to look through the bad photos to see the beauty, but I like them. Better pics - then you can post on a site with "stance" in the domain name. lol no worries, I plan to fire up my Rebel camera. Been just spoiled with the Smartphone camera's these days. Rear definitely needs to come down, I have an extra set of Heico (by eibach) springs that I've been eyeing to cut. and as for a site with "stance"... whatever, 5 min fame.
sacrifice Posted March 16, 2012 Report Posted March 16, 2012 Roll rears, space rears, cut dead coils. The wheels aren't bad but I prefer the CKs
exexpat Posted March 16, 2012 Report Posted March 16, 2012 and as for a site with "stance"... whatever, 5 min fame. Matt and I are up 4 minutes now - I'm still hopeful.
DevolvR Posted March 16, 2012 Author Report Posted March 16, 2012 Matt and I are up 4 minutes now - I'm still hopeful. Well I wouldn't mind. Definitely more work for me to get there though. I would love to get that low like both you and Matt, but it's not really a necessity nor is it a performance thing. Definitely prefer the CKs personally. I've been getting that a lot, even on Swedespeed. Only things I didn't like about the CKs was that it covered too much of the rotors/brakes and didn't have any lip, so I went for a wheel that solved both. Loooking nice!!!! Specs on the tire? General Exclaim-UHP 225/35/19, I had these earlier on my CKs, ran fine but a tad too soft for my liking. Bought the wheels with them from a Cobalt SS owner. They are 5x110 and 65.1mm center bore, I was surprised how similar they are to our wheel setups. Oh and he was puzzled as to why my brakes were so huge (his words) and asked if they were stock. Better pics this weekend if the weather plays nice...

I am glad you were able to find something that fits the style you were after. I guess its just the non-functional bolts and the stepped spokes that are bothering me. Would look way cleaner without either.

Non-functional bolts for the loss, wish these were real 2 piece, but whatever. These were half the budget I was originally planning to put down for. It's all good, CKs are sitting in my garage and can go on anytime. ^_^
