This is a shoot from the hip healthcare reform which will cost everyone a shit load of money. Obama says it is not a tax but if you open the reform policy and read through it, it is a tax. Even the Supreme Court said it was going to be a tax. I dont understand how people can support him when he is spending money and taxing people when America and the tax payers are in a shitty economy. So if I dont want to pay for health insurance the IRS (who is understaffed already) will come after me? Why not just pay the IRS penalty and have everyone else's premium go up? The quality of healthcare and the people that do have current health insurance is going to go to shit. Also with the history of govt run programs and efforts... it will cost so much more than proposed and fail. Again I am for healthcare reform, just not like this. Because I can see you provide such interesting and intellectually stimulating commentary, what do you propose people do instead of voting? You act as if the position is simply purchased, and all the votes are just tossed in the trash as soon as the check clears. I mean, there is plenty of tinfoil hat theories that suggest it happens that way, but I'm not sure you believe that in the most literal way. We all know money buys politics, and money buys advertising, and shitty statistics, and wonderful statements from 'experts', that's old news. I've said it before and I'll say it again, perpetuating the idea that it is strictly a two-party system and that voting for anyone besides them is a waste of time, ensures it will stay that way. And not voting, be it in your local, state, or federal elections is a great way for everything to stay exactly the way it is.
