Che'_Moderator
if the poor pool all their money, they still have less than the 1% pooled. That does not make them the majority. without a doubt the lower income are having them mostly, might have been fishey that had the %'s, but its mostly minorities also. Socioeconomic factors, education on and on. so lets let the rich decide for the poor then? THE MAN, already holds them back lol Last I checked a poor vote counted the same as a rich vote. flyfishing3
back to the other comments. well a lot of those were first hand quotes. you might not agree with the publisher, but WR could defend himself anytime he wanted. Its sometimes easy to hide behind confidentiality. ask the Catholic priests, Lawyers, Dr's. every comment cannot to be vetted six times. My lifting info IS based on research that i'm doing. Maybe i'm wrong, but i seem to be the only one waving the WOMEN"S RIGHT FLAG. lol i would love to not tie in religion into this, It's hard to find foibles about WR without tying in religion. Thats because his/your religion helps/does form his frame of reference. it is what it is. for chuck. the poor do not send out emails threatening their employee's to vote a certain way or they could be out of a job. food stamps don't come with a flyer to vote a certain way. Che'_Moderator
for chuck. the poor do not send out emails threatening their employee's to vote a certain way or they could be out of a job. food stamps don't come with a flyer to vote a certain way. Thats because despite what BO tells you, poor do not have employees. Ipso facto anyone who does this cannot be poor. Mike, you talk a good game and I would be upset if you had not already told me that you think MR would be a better president if you ignore social issues. Che'_Moderator
If social healthcare and abortion are your top issues, I agree you are 100% correct. Vote for Obama. Personally I know the healthcare laws will limit how many people I hire this year which is bad for the economy, and I could give two shits about abortions. 1

I would employee 3-4 but now its zero until the health care mandates change. I mean lets not forget large corporations already have exception from the law its the little guys that are getting hit hard by this legislation. Burn-E
Wonder to what extent Sandy the superstorm will suppress voting next week in the Eastern swing states. Who knew God was a Republican? You know both campaigns are asking this specific question.

flyfishing3
I was under the impression we were to no longer quote/link biased sites.?..?
Burn-E
Mike, I never said don't quote biased sites. What I said was, try finding some balance in what you write and give context to it where you know it exists. I don't care if you think Mitt Romney is the anti-christ and he eats small children for breakfast. But I do care when you post crazy stuff up and then say, "Hey, did you know this is what Mormons believe?" When that clearly isn't the case or hasn't been the case for many years or fits within the context that the entire medical profession AND every Christian faith viewed it in the same way at the same time. Try this: "Did you know Mormons Mitt Romney believes..."
flyfishing3
well, i'm officially done with this thread for awhile. all i'm going to say is, and it can be flipped if desired. if you vote for WR and you care about social issues, i hope you get what you deserve. i don't care who you vote for, but please vote and REALLY REALLY vote for senate/house/dog catcher. We need people that will work together and stop this partisan bickering. <<<drops the mic>>>
Burn-E
It's OK Mike, this thread is going to die next Wednesday unless there's a 2000-esque hanging chad recount. Which is entirely possible given how close this race is.
Kevin.
I'm expecting a really close race; I'm not seeing a blowout going either way
