Christie is Christie and he has always looked out for his State and his interests. He doesn't care what the party thinks of him and that's why he got elected in the first place.

Exactly what he should be doing. What I am saying is I have seen a lot of political officals out campaigning for Obama or Romney instead of doing their jobs.

Eh, that is part of their job actually. Politics is all about scratching backs. If they want to bring home the pork for their State then the governors, congressmen, Senators need to ingratiate themselves with the future President.

That's why Obama has had such a hard time getting reelected this year. Because he really isn't a politician. He's been the luckiest SOB who ever ran for dog catcher.

I'm going to predict we have a statement by the news media tonight where they misproject a particular set of States and this election resolves differently. This will be be closer to 2000 than they want to admit.

I predict the losing party (whoever) will manage to completely miss the reason why they lost.

Aaaand we're done. Shipped a few billion to the media and spent at least a year campaigning rather than governing, but hey. Good night. 8:30 AM here now actually but don't have any work till 5PM anyway.

Well time to triple our debt and be monkeyed by four more years of this POS.

Let me just leave this here...

Some lawmakers, pundits, and others continue to say that President George W. Bush’s policies did not drive the projected federal deficits of the coming decade — that, instead, it was the policies of President Obama and Congress in 2009 and 2010. But, the fact remains: the economic downturn, President Bush’s tax cuts and the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq explain virtually the entire deficit over the next ten years (see Figure 1).

No one disputes that Bush and Clinton's loose handling of economic controls unleashed this economic nightmare on our country. But there's a vast difference between putting your foot on the accelerator vs. the brake when you're racing toward a cliff.

But of course the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities would deflect any blame from Obama - they're a left of middle think tank funded in part by George Soros. ;)
