Been proven time and time again. Its paradoxical yes, but nothing new. Etrade is the equivalent of letting dumb people vote. People woke up and saw bill passed and ran out peckers in hand. Had they read they actually just agreed to kick it down the road, AGAIN, they would know better. That on top of you need to make 8% more today than you did this time last week just to break even, and in 9 weeks the number could be more like 18%. I paid my salary for the entire year on the 31st. Even if it came from corporate donations aren't there better ways to spend the money? When my family experiences tight times we tighten the purse strings and spend on necessary items. I'm all for government spending but I'd be more impressed with a more intelligent gesture that encouraged people to think about our responsibility to fix the economic issues. flyfishing3 Posted January 22, 2013 Author Report Share Posted January 22, 2013 yeah i agree, my wife said the same thing about all the money spent could of gone to education, poor etc. I do believe the inag is somewhat good for the country and helps build Nationalism, and says lets put all this bickering aside for awhile. I think this was a little toned down being a second go. Being a holiday, those Fers woudln't really have been working anyway, but get back to work in the CONGRESS and not at home raising money. i guess i'm on a watch list now. i sent off a shit eating letter to my governor the other day lol. I'm saying if the household is broke and on hard times, then using money more productively and not partying like it's 1999 is called for. Be an Ant and not a Grasshopper. What he did was respond to a question about Obama has handled the Sequester and Romney is absolutely right that Obama is doing what he knows how to do best: campaign - when what is called for is lots of phone calls and closed door negotiations. No one in congress seemed all that motivated to do anything about it but bitch to the press like they have done for years. John Boehner tells the Senate to get off the asses and do something, but the GOP filibustered every time a plan was set to go to vote, so nothing happened.
