larry818
Hi Guys Ok I read all that stuff is the install of the 2013A the same? I'm having quite the issues with the install,I've given it to a computer person who purchased a computer with all the requirements for the install but he is still having problems.Could it be I got an incomplete cd? It might just be the other stuff you have installed on your 'puter. I tried and tried to install it on my Dell and finally gave up. It installed immediately on an older laptop I had lying around with a new windows install. Recently the HDD in the Dell died, so new HDD, new windows install, and Vida installed no problem. Quark
Reading through this thread, it would appear that if you had an older version of Vida, say 2010D, you could buy a 3 day subscription, download software and it would upload fine with a non OE dice, is this correct? wizzard_al
Wrong: Volvo detects the clone DiCE units, and refuses to allow any downloads for them.

Ihatespeedbumps
Surprisingly I had no issues with installing my bootleg version on my laptop. I've wanted to kill myself updating our work computer with official versions (four times a year I might add) that I refuse to do it anymore. I've got this setup so I can do work out of my house, rarely do I use it at work. We do have two legit DICE units that we use for downloads. mother f* installed IE9 Error Code: -5001 : 0x80070002 Error Information: >SetupNewsetup.cpp (142) PAPP: PVENDOR: PGUID: $17.0.717 @Windows 7 / Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 0 (7600) IE Version: 9.0.8112.16421 Have you looked at this before? We do have two legit DICE units that we use for downloads. Sounds like our shop. We only buy one yearly Vida subscription but have 2 DICE units. We have Vida installed on 2 different computers in our shop, but since we only purchased one subscription we have to un-register one computer and then register the other computer in order to use it. Kinda sucks, might look into getting a "copy" of Vida so we can have it running on both computers at the same time. The legit version could be used for downloads/diagnostics and the "copy" version for diagnostics only.

Everything listed in the document for Win7 was followed. I tried check for disk error, disk defrag last night with no difference. Not sure why I'm having such trouble. i'm on Win7 Ultimate. Does it matter I'm trying to install from ISO file.
