tchnprgrmr
I finally got around to installing this, it worked perfectly with the mazdaspeed3 caliper. Just needed the 2 bolts switched to the mazda thread pattern.
ashvolvo
Awesome.I'm glad that you've got it all together too. Mazda are M12x1.25 whereas Volvo/Ford are M12x1.75.They're now available from ViVA too.See -http://www.vivaperformance.com/320mm-front-brake-upgrade-volvo-850-s-c-v70/
RobT5M
Wow that is a crazy price for those calipers. Must be a 300% mark up on the calipers alone. Maybe I should buy all my 320mm mazda calipers from work and sell them myself. Ash I need to hit you up for the bolt like Jeremy got. Going to try to pull the trigger and finally install the fronts sometime in the near future.

Its awesome they dont charge a core or anything. Going to see if I can beat that price with the mazda calipers after shipping.
Fran9690
I tried sifting through the thread to find my answer, maybe it's there and I missed it, but I skimmed through the 26 pages with no luck. Has it been confirmed whether you can use the 320mm rotors off the S60 for this upgrade, or do you need to get the S40 rotors and either machine them larger or get hubcentric rings to get them to fit? Thanks in advance.
Volvo5.0
Another source for cheap calipershttp://autoplicity.com/3708383-a1-cardone-19-b3272http://autoplicity.com/3708383-a1-cardone-19-b3272

Thanks in advance.I don't think the P2 S60 has a 320mm option, and the P3s have the smaller hub bore like the P1s. So you're going to have to bore out some rotors. Rings work to fit wider things on smaller hubs, this can't be done with a ring.
Blockpartie
There is a 320mm brake kit for the P2 cars. I had talked to Will about adapting the whole brake (caliper and everything) but nothing came of it. But it's possible.I don't think you can mix the P2 brake disc with P1 calipers. ashvolvo
Ash I need to hit you up for the bolt like Jeremy got. Going to try to pull the trigger and finally install the fronts sometime in the near future. No problem. Let me know when you're ready. For the Mazda caliper? Thanks in advance.Definitely needs to be from a P1 car - Volvo S40/V50T5 AWD or Ford Focus XR5/ST LS-LV models. The S60 rotor will not work unfortunately. Its a bit frustrating that the P2 rotor couldnt be used. The need to machine the rotor centrebore, while it is quite inexpensive, its the most annoying part of it all.

Martijn_B
Well.. I need to give credit where its due: officially all the credit goes to Sebastiaan, a fellow Dutch Volvo driver who created the set for me
ashvolvo
Hilariously, we were working on it for a while (having not been particularly active on VS) while Martijn was without even knowing.I still think for what it costs, it really is very hard to beat.
