850 T-5 Vs. Sprayed? Scion Tc

Well this might sound stupid but drafting could be in play here. When I raced road bikes (pedaling) I was not good for long speed runs but if I drafted someone I could go 25% faster. So if this guy can stay on your jump then he only needs to sit on your rear and not push wind

3. The tC is geared low, our first shift point is at about 5 mph. I'm sure this had something to do with it.

The way you have that stated it sure seems like you mean the car redlines at 5mph.

I guess the part where you said geared low and the implied that at 5mph you HAD to shift, would make it seem like you were redlining at 5mph. When in reality you shift there because you "granny" it, and you probably save some gas as well.

"Have you ever merged on the freeway and hook up on the tail of a semi going 70mph tell me you can't feel the pull and then pull out of the draft. drafting is drafting know matter what speed, runners do it cyclist and auto racers "

First of all i have never "hooked up on the tail" of a semi going 70. If your drafting a semi, then your dumber than i thought. Not only can a semi not see you when you are drafting them, but you have no time to react if they for whatever reason have to brake suddenly. I myself prefer to keep my car intact. You can't bring up drafting in this type of a situation. Unless the tc was riding up right on top of his butt, which he said he wasn't then it wouldn't work

You cliamed your first shift pont is at about 5 MPH... what did you mean by that comment?

I think I already clarified that statement, Bob.

If you gentlemen are really concerned where and when the tC shifts (automatic) or where the shift points are, look it up. Try Google. You type the words you want to search for in the little box under the word "Google"

I'm sorry I confused any of you with my statement. It might have been because I drive an automatic, and am not all that familiar with shifting a tC.

Ah so not only do you guys try to mock our cars but you make fun of the pictures that we have as well? What the hell is that all about?

You may drive a toyota (under the shell) and I happen to hate toyota, except for the supra of course, but I'm not going to take personal shots at you for it. (seems like a little bit of over compensation on your parts) Another thing I won't down your car unless you take cardboard and make a spoiler out of it.(Its called respect) Aside of the fact that we own different cars, we are all the same, we all obviously like cars.

I'll have to remember that tC owners seem to be superficial.

As for the first post in your thread, about volvo owners hating, well I think he was a little surpised that a Naturally Aspirated scion tC(Highest trap is what maybe 90-94) could keep up with a car (that happens to be a volvo) that traps 100.

I wouldn't really call that hating.
