Different strokes for different folks. Personally, I hate stupid little tattoos. Do something that could affect your potential jobs, potential earnings, finding a spouse etc. i can promise you, i wouldn't have many of my jobs if i was covered in INK. Many are done on a whim, or alcohol fueled spring break. you could Tie dye your face as far as I'm concerned. i'll still hang with you at travis's. i just wouldn't do that.
