Dull, Metallic Whining Sound From Drivers Side When Turning Slightly Right...

I have a hard time describing the noise i'm getting from my car. When I turn right, with my steering wheel turned about 45 degrees, I get this dull, metallic whining sound from the drivers side..almost as if something needs lubrication. I had that axle replaced a few months ago by my uncle who is a mechanic, however when replacing my brakes(it made the noise before) I noticed the axle had rust on the exposed metal. It is a very different sound than the one made by a failing cv joint, but it happens in a similar scenario(turning right, sound coming from left side, only when moving). It goes away when I turn the wheel further to the right, doesn't happen at all when turning left, going straight. Also felt a slight vibration under my left foot that correlated with the sound. Just had a 4 wheel alignment done this morning and it is still making the sound.

Any tips would be great, thanks

I had done a shakedown test but not sure how to test for a bad wheel hub bearing. End link, control arm, tie rods all seemed tight, nothing that raised my suspicion as it did on the other side. By my understanding the wheel hub bearing makes more of a grinding sound? This is more of a not super high pitched squeeling/squeeky hinge on a heavy door sound. Is it common for it to happen ONLY when turning the wheel in a certain direction? It's like one angle on the wheel triggers it, nothing else. I also feel the vibration under my foot sometimes when it is particularly loud.

I'll look into it more. Definitely not the brake shield though.

Check for stuck brake caliper

Did that when I did my brakes. A stuck caliper probably wouldn't compress back..right? Yesterday I noticed a similar sound from my rear passenger side. This is the only time I've heard it(i'm certain the drivers side front does it also, I can feel vibrating in my foot).

Here is another scenario i'm throwing around...could there be air in the system causing the caliper to not fully compress back towards the caliper when the brake is disengaged? My pedal doesn't go to the ground, but I didn't really gain any stiffness in the pedal after doing my front brakes, something i've noticed happening after putting new brakes on in the past. I can make the sound go away if I press down on the brakes.
