theunderlord
Not if that was the main reason you drove it. If you want milage get a prius or something like that. Giv me a better reason:D←Well I used to haul big a$s industrial equpiment around... but I don't do that anymore.. and I live in the city.. so driving a huge, scarily loud, 20' long truck around just didnt make sense. My mom rolls a 01 F150 Supercrew with 33's on weld wheels.. she uses the "truck" part of the vehicle all the time.... I agree with your point, I guess the people I know who have trucks use them all the time.

They're great when you need to move big stuff around but if you don't need to, don't take the uneccessary risk of driving one. Especialy b/c you're putting other people at more risk than yourself. Thanks for proving trucks have a use but an everyday driver isn't it. My dad has a fleet of vans for his contracting business and drives one around to the jobs and back if he needs tools and materials but other than that his in an S80.I'm a musician and even haul a big 4x12 guitar cabinet and p.a. system around in my S60.I know in some states (maybe other countries) you need a special liscnese and take a different test to drive trucks. I'm not talking about 18 wheelers either. Thanks for letting me rant!!! :D
ontheheel
i love the lightnings, and i am definitley a ford man. but i have to give it to the srt10 because it is just an all around awesome truck. a six speed manual, and probably the nicest truck suspension to ever come out of the factory, with a huge engine is just awesomeas for the lighting, the concepts are awesome, but i have heard rumors that they won't produce it because the new truck is so heavy. i think it's a shame, but you would have to have an insaine amount of power just to move that thing. mines got 300 hp and 365 lb/ft, and it is a dog as far as accelleration is concerned. of course, i can tow 9900 lbs, but that's another story...
