DragosD Posted October 20, 2012 Report Posted October 20, 2012 What is your opinion about it? On or Off? Is there any pros and cons?
flyfishing3 Posted October 20, 2012 Report Posted October 20, 2012 is it felt lined? i've found that helps keep the BRA from rubbing. the problem is you need to keep it clean underneath or it will trap dirt and rub the paint. I'm Meh on one.
Burn-E Posted October 20, 2012 Report Posted October 20, 2012 Not a good idea if the car gets rained on.
Aequitas_Veritas Posted October 20, 2012 Report Posted October 20, 2012 Yeah those will ruin your paint pretty quickly if you get any dirt under them. IMO they do more harm them good. Plus I don't like the way they look either.
DragosD Posted October 20, 2012 Author Report Posted October 20, 2012 Yes, felt lined... genuine VOLVO. Personally I like the look and I only used it while on long freeway trips, never on rain !! Not a daily thing. Thanks.
98t5M Posted October 20, 2012 Report Posted October 20, 2012 Yea I guess it'd be alright for road trips but otherwise... not a big fan.
Dick Dastardly Posted October 20, 2012 Report Posted October 20, 2012 If youre using a bra, You need matching louvers for the rear window..
Honeyman Posted October 20, 2012 Report Posted October 20, 2012 ^ Hilarious They trap a lot of stuff. I thought it would be good to sport one traveling, but they attract way too much underneath. I think it looks pretty cool on your ride, though, it's clean! But I'm just showing my age. :)
Burn-E Posted October 20, 2012 Report Posted October 20, 2012 Have you considered just getting a clear bra applied to protect your paint?
z31jaime Posted October 20, 2012 Report Posted October 20, 2012 I like it, I say rock it. Here in FL in love bug season I would KILL for one of them on my 850.
DragosD Posted October 20, 2012 Author Report Posted October 20, 2012 Have you considered just getting a clear bra applied to protect your paint? Yes. I may consider the 3M/Ventureshield on my new R bumper but once again, I really like the "Space Shuttle Discovery" look.
Kevin. Posted October 21, 2012 Report Posted October 21, 2012 for road trips, this would be invaluable for rock chips. otherwise, kind of an eye sore and it's not good long term on the paint
survolvo Posted October 21, 2012 Report Posted October 21, 2012 Yes. I may consider the 3M/Ventureshield on my new R bumper but once again, I really like the "Space Shuttle Discovery" look. Wrap it with some black 3M vinyl.
Yellow95 Posted October 21, 2012 Report Posted October 21, 2012 Anyone have a part number for an V70R mask? As Jaime said. They are a HUGE help when driving into Florida during lovebug season. This is my old Silver wagon 1 hour after I bought it down there.
