gilber33
Yeah it does. I have to check to make sure the code for your headunit was in the bag of stuff. And that would be awesome if you did.

gilber33
Brought it home today. Not entirely by choice either. The latch on the hood of my S70 broke from the hood. So the driver side does not latch. Didn't feel safe driving it like that. :rolleye: Incredibly dirty. But it drives good. Has a clunk up front I have no idea what from since I didn't touch the suspension. Only thought is maybe the solid rear mount has shown how shitty the side mount is. I didn't touch the suspension otherwise. It's also vibraty as hell. I'm going to miss driving the S70. This really isn't something I want to sit in and drive all the time now. My indicator lights work as well. Whenever the EBC turns on the meth I have a warning light go on that tells me it's spraying. I also have a low level indicator. Had quite a few leaks after taking it out the first time. Leaking oil. I jacked it up and retightened all the banjo bolts, loosened and tightened them and all appears well so far. I think there was also a bunch of oil left over from the putting in and taking out the turbo a few times. But, yeah, so far so good. I haven't gotten on it yet really. Maaaaybe 1/2 throttle and it pulls really hard. I don't think I've even gone above 10psi yet.
lookforjoe
Looking Good! I'm sure you'll get the suspension / engine mounts taken care of. Never heard of the hood safety snapping off the hood - what happened?
gilber33
Thanks. I'll probably replace the side engine mount and put the helper springs back in. Nothing else was touched, so it's kind of weird. And it wasn't even the safety latch. It was the "U" shaped latch on the hood itself, the main "hook" that snap into the latches on the car. It broke loose from the hood. I have no idea what happened. That side always closed hard and never closed tight, it must have been getting loose this whole time and then today was the last day. gilber33
Wuss. Now cut 3" off the lever and put a ball on it Go hit the gym, don't remove the SS kit I knew I wasn't that big of a wuss. The bolt on the short shifter tightened itself since we installed it and I drove it for the first time. It was damn near completely tight. I loosened it up and short shifter is great now. Also. Been driving it this week. Besides the noisy front end, it's been good. But it's completely pointless in the city. By the time I get into boost I'm already speeding. But it will be a fun weekend car.
