Parts started arriving

I'll be making a 3" intake using a jaguar XJ filter canister. I'm also planning on making a material filled catch can and running vent to atmosphere.

I'm just waiting on a box from FCP and I'll be doing the swap the weekend after next!

What is the ideal 20G setup that would be street-able? Time for me to change. I am not satisfied with the 19T. Not trying to hijack but looking for a good compromise

You need the HRC 20g, not the DSM version. The hybrid is TD05 hotside, TD06 coldside for better spool.

Did you shave your R mani? or using a adapter?

I got it shaved.

Is it tomorrow yet?

The machinist took way longer than expected, I mocked it up for just a second, but it needs to go back to him so I can get the manifold tapped for an EGT probe.

Any recommendations as to where to get one?

Is this it? http://forums.turbobricks.com/showthread.php?t=197569

That's the 'super' 20g, which uses a TD05H turbine wheel and a 10cm housing, the most common 20g for T3 flange applications. I got a deal on a rebuilt ebay 20g that uses a TD06 turbine wheel in a 8cm housing with a T3 flange. The best place would either be Hahn's website or keep an eye ebay.

Well, if you were able to crank the hub all the way to each ones stop position, I can't see them moving once the engine is running. If the click doesn't go way once you have built up oil pressure, then you may have to source alternative hub(s). Otherwise, just do that now. Those seem to be your options.

Glad to hear you we're able to source the locking tool.

Quick question with the HRC 20g setup is where would you be locating the external WG? I'd like to go that route next fall but that seems like a hell of a lot of fab'ing, EWG, new dp, coolant/oil lines, rear mount, shaving the manifold flange and probably more headaches to deal with than just that.
