When I killed my first whiteblock I got it hot enough to melt the coil pack wiring but not the cover. It now has no rings and probably a bad headgasket/warped head. I was shocked but others say they have seen this before.. yours looks like it got really really hot.. as if the person that last drove it failed to stop the engine in time...
