That was one of the worst things he has done. Read this book http://www.amazon.com/Decoding-Obama-Health-Law-ebook/dp/B007P62E7O/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1376058377&sr=8-5&keywords=Obamacare it is VERY scary. flyfishing3
All you people hoping for a shut down It costs us 100 mil a day just for preparations in case. these REP assholes just want to feel big. Burn-E
The Affordable Care Act already has shown how much of a disaster it will be Mike. My preference would be for those who oppose it to take a longer term view and work to capture all the necessary offices first and then get rid of it, transform it, whatever. But fighting last year's battles is just going to piss off the electorate.

7 VII 7
Is this just a general question or relative to some policy? General and "rumors" of the insurance exchange. Again, no one will know what will happen until it happens, but it will be interesting to see how prices go up after the first year when a shit load of claims are processed. Not far off the number being thrown around on C-SPAN is $5000.
Fudge_Brownie
A deductible and "max out of pocket expenses" are a bit different. Are they actually saying deductible? As in you pay for the doctor's visit in full the first few times?
caanglin
Don't know how true it all is. Some senator said $5,000 deductible. Also said the average healthy 27 or 29 year old male in their district could expect a 90% premium increase.

So the premiums might be lower than they are now, but the deductible could be $5,000, $6,000 or $7,000 a year before insurance picks up the bill. I wonder how this works with ER visit. I called my company HR to see what the preview is going to be for my 2014 Rates and coverage.. .nothing yet but it should be interesting. I think it will help a good amount of people this year but hurt more this year... next year could be awful. I just dont like how both sides of the aisle are ignorant about this. I am the first to say we need healthcare reform, but not like this "shoot from the hip" let us figure it out as it is rolled out mentality. Typical govn't bullshit. Why would ANYONE trust the govnt to do a good job with a "business" (because that is what this is). Just blows my mind
